
Ola Anyanwu is an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN) working at LIV Health as Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Ola is a telehealth provider supporting other clinical staff members and providing patient care. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Walden University, with a 3.9 GPA, and Cum Laude from the University of Texas, at Arlington. Ola is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society, the American Nurses Association, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
Ola has experience working with children, adults, and geriatric patients, and enjoys working with various population groups with mental illness by helping them regain autonomy and become fully functional members of society. She enjoys promoting social change and De- stigmatization of mental illness through public education and awareness. Ola has worked in different hospitals in Texas, including private, home health, nursing homes, temporary hold facilities, county and federal hospitals, in both impatient and telehealth settings. Over the past eight years, She has worked as a psychiatric nurse provider caring for patients belonging to different population groups across lifespan, with varying mental health disorders/substance abuse problems.
Ola has received countless awards in maternal and childcare, psychiatric/mental abuse health management and has been nominated a National Safety Champion. She is an extremely competent, passionate and compassionate provider with vast knowledge and experience in all facets of mental health.
Ola is the mother of five beautiful children and is an empathetic, friendly, and respectful provider; she listens, cares, and communicates concisely and effectively. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, reading, dancing, and sharing a laugh or a smile.
