National Health Service Corps Award Site

Jan 17, 2020

We have all the feels about one of our latest accomplishments and are so proud to announce that

LIV Health is a National Health Service Corps Award Site!

The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) awards scholarships and loan repayment to primary care providers in eligible disciplines. The mission is to build healthy communities by supporting qualified health care providers dedicated to working in areas of the United States with limited access to care.

What does it mean to be a National Health Service Corps Award Site?

This means that those who are employed by LIV Health have the opportunity to apply for student loan repayment.

THE NATIONal health service corps have a huge impact.

Did you know that there are more than 13,000 NHSC members? And that more than 60% of NHSC members provide care at a community health center? At LIV Health we provide mental health and case management services in the home, community-based settings, or in one of our convenient office locations in Cheyenne, Laramie or Wellington, and we can also provide telehealth services statewide. We are so excited to help the healthcare shortage by:

  • ensuring access to healthcare for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay;
  • help to prevent disease and illness;
  • care for the most vulnerable people who may otherwise go without.
