Meet Molly

Meet Molly. Molly Barker is currently an Intern here at LIV working towards her Master’s in Social Work. However, in April, Molly will be joining us full-time as a Case Manager for our Chronic Care Management Program! Molly grew up in Scottsbluff Nebraska and has a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from the University of Wyoming. Her experience has mostly focused on working with the elderly in health care facilities but she is looking forward to learning more about serving all vulnerable populations and graduating with her MSW in August 2021.
Q: What is Case Management to you?
M: Case management to me is connecting clients with needed resources and collaborating with family and other service providers for best patient outcomes.
Q: What’s your favorite family recipe? Will you share?
M: My favorite family recipe is cheesy potatoes. You just mix hashbrowns, cheese, sour cream, butter, and cream of mushroom soup and bake. Very unhealthy and very delicious!
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
M: I like to spend time with family and friends. I’ve recently started golfing more. Being in graduate school makes spare time pretty sparse at the moment.
Q: Favorite thing to do for self-care?
M: I like to listen to music or podcasts, I try to take my dog on walks daily.
Q: What advice would you give to someone struggling with the pandemic, mental health, or basic needs?
M: Self-care is important and prioritizing what matters most during these times has been helpful for me.
Q: What is LIV to you?
M: LIV is a company that I have always admired for putting clients first. As a new member of the team, I continue to be impressed with how we support each other and work with others to support patients.
