Meet Lisa

Meet Lisa. Lisa Poledna is from Laramie, Wyoming, and found her calling caring for an older gentleman in 2018, and through personal experiences with her mother who was terminally ill for 7 years. She has worked in her family’s business her whole life and is excited to follow her heart with her new position with LIV More. In her spare time, Lisa loves mountain biking and hanging out with her dogs.
Q: What does a community healthcare worker do, and what other services can LIV More provide?
L: A community health care worker helps with daily chores, organizing things in their clients’ lives, shopping, and transportation. They also offer companionship.
Q: What’s your favorite family recipe? Will you share it?
L: I love my Dad’s crapes but the recipe is a secret.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
L: My favorite thing to do in my spare time is ride my mountain bike, I guess I should say it’s electric, or I wouldn’t like it as much.
Q: What is LIV to you?
L: LIV to me seems like a well-organized organization, that cares about what they do. I am excited to work for them and learn all I can.
Q: Favorite thing to do for self-care?
L: To spoil myself, or for self-care, I do little things like order my groceries or get myself a new cozy blanket.
