Meet Lisa

Meet Lisa! Lisa is a Therapist that works on our Laramie Team. We took a few minutes to ask her a few questions about who she is as a therapist, why she enjoys working for LIV, and what she likes to do for self-care. Check it out!
Q: How would you describe yourself as a therapist?
L: As a therapist, I strive to join with the patient as we talk about the difficulties or struggles they are encountering. I am compassionate, understanding, and try to encourage healing and joy in recovery (also add a little sense of humor if possible!).
Q: What is your favorite family recipe? Will you share it?
L: I have a lot of favorite family recipes! My maternal grandparents made the best Italian thanksgiving stuffing and my paternal grandmother makes amazing date oatmeal cookies and ginger lemon tea when you are sick. The tea is honey, freshly squeezed lemon, and freshly crushed ginger in hot water- works like a charm!
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
L: I love being outside. Hiking, biking, walking, taking my daughter to the playground, snowshoeing..anything outside!
Q: What is LIV to you?
L: LIV is a helping hand- in the form of counseling, case management, medical support- we are here to help and really care about the people who trust us enough to do so.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do for self-care?
L: Spending time with my family, cooking/baking, being outside, talking with friends, or walking my dogs.
