Meet Kayla

Meet Kayla. Kayla is a Community Healthcare Worker on our LIV More team. She has worked with patients who have Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities since graduating high school. Kayla decided that this was something that she loves and could see herself doing for many years, after working one-on-one with a patient who suffered from Cerebral-Palsy.
Q: What does a community healthcare worker do, and what other services can LIV More provide?
K: A Community Healthcare Worker is someone who advocates for patients to get quality care services. LIV More can provide services to help with: yard work, transportation needs, and help with basic hygienic needs.
Q: What’s your favorite family recipe? Will you share it?
K: My favorite family recipe is my grandma’s potato soup recipe. She used to make it whenever us kids had a hard day.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
K: My favorite thing to do in my spare time is taking my dog on walks at the park and spend time with my family.
Q: What is LIV to you?
K: To me, LIV is always making a difference. LIV is about advocating for others and improving access to quality care services.
Q: Favorite thing to do for self-care?
K: My favorite thing to do for self-care is read. I enjoy all books but my favorites are poetry and self help books.
