Q: How would you describe yourself as a therapist?
R: Compassionate, engaged, and thoughtful. I strive to adapt my approach to each individual I work with. I value the integration of science-based practices into my therapy.
Q: What is your favorite family recipe? Will you share it?
R: Gosh, it’s hard to think of one…I like making so many different kinds of foods and trying new recipes! I guess one of the most regular things I make is a crumb cake that’s adapted from my husband’s grandmother’s recipe. I’ve tweaked it to have what I feel is the perfect crumb-to-cake ratio. And yes, I’d share any recipe anytime!
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
R: I love cooking, baking, eating, thrifting, and hiking – ideally with friends or family members.
Q: What is LIV to you?
R: To me, we at LIV strive to meet people where they are (physically, financially, emotionally) to provide high-quality care.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do for self-care?
R: Nothing resets me more than a hot Epsom salt bath. Throw some lavender essential oil in there and I’m in complete bliss.
