Aging in Wyoming

There are many services, programs, and agencies that are working hard to provide amazing services to our Aging Population right here in Wyoming.

All of us here at LIV Health and many other agencies statewide are here to help our aging population live their best lives. We want to provide the best care and great services to our patients, always, and there are many other agencies who are here to do the same.

Aging at home

we are featured in 2 videos, and we’re pretty excited about it!

Without home and community-based services through the State's Community Choices Program, and the work of our state's CNA's, many of Wyoming's older citizens would not be able to age in the home. We know Wyomingites want to age at home, which also saves the state millions of dollars. Thank you to Governor Mark Gordon and the Wyoming Legislature for seeing the importance of these programs.

Created by AARP of Wyoming and features our own Gabrielle Jorns, Continue Care’s, Marlaina Mills, and AARP of Wyoming’s Sam Shumway.

Our Community Choices Waiver program saves the state millions of dollars on institutionalized care and makes it so our loved ones can stay in their homes. The mission of the Community-Based Services Unit within the Wyoming Department of Health is to support Wyoming residents to achieve independence, maintain health and safety, and fully participate in community living through access to high-quality, cost-effective community-based services.
